Guests enter the grounds of The Unbound through The Boardwalk – a cluster of reception, restaurant, bar, shop and cabins – unfolding into a series of gardens to discover. A kitchen garden, a garden for playing, a garden for events, and our wellness garden, all fan out from a serene lake, with a canal at their perimeter. At their edge is what we call The Field – a stunning enclave of freestanding cabins which surround The Firehouse, a place for gathering.

The gardens offer both wide open spaces and stunning hideaways for communing more privately with nature. Use the Unbound Treasure box to pack a picnic, or play a lazy game through the afternoon. Take a stroll through the white birches, weeping willow conifers, fruit trees, and see what’s in bloom and thriving, and uncover produce of the season in the organic kitchen garden.
